SENIOR CONSULTANTS CORPORATE INTERNATIONAL TAX

 

The department Corporate International Tax offers multidisciplinary solutions to the corporate tax challenges of multinationals, large and medium Belgian private and public companies, small and medium sized dynamic and growth companies, governmental organizations, etc. on a recurring and specialized project basis. Our specialists assist their clients with innovative and sound tax solutions, (inter)national tax planning, strategic tax reviews, compliance assistance and review, transfer pricing strategies, tax aspects of merger & acquisition transactions, estate planning, tax treatment of financial institutions and products, and real estate.

• As a senior consultant you will assist and advise
clients regarding corporate tax matters, both national and international, working closely and building excellent relationships with them. 
• You will be responsible for handling a varied portfolio of client assignments, participating in client meetings, and developing your relationships with your clients.
• You will be working on client teams where you report to managers, directors and/or partners, and are responsible for delegating work to junior members of the team.
• You will be identifying areas where technical judgment is required and recommending appropriate solutions to your manager.
•  You will be involved in coaching and supervising junior team members, playing an important role in the further development of the practice.
• You will be integrated within a young and dynamic department, building up a network of relationships with colleagues in your office and around the Deloitte network.

• You have a university degree in a business-related discipline such as law or economics, or a comparable background. A post-graduate qualification in tax law is an asset.
• You are able to communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English. 
• You have gained 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position (in a consulting or a law firm, at the Tax Authorities,…), where you demonstrated technical abilities and business skills.
• You have excellent communication skills, the mindset of an entrepreneur and are willing to invest yourself in a challenging work environment. You are a team player with leadership capacities.
• You have an open, creative, enthusiastic and flexible mindset, looking for opportunities to exceed expectations and take ownership of projects assigned to you.
