Your role
As member of the ACN Reach/EH&S & Regulatory group, you will be core team of this growing practice within Accenture. You will be coached by a senior leader developing your skills in the Chemicals regulatory domains, the Natural Resources market issues. You will be active in Belgium but also in other countries when required, with a focus on REACh, CLP, Environment Health and Safety and larger sustainability.
With deep specialist knowledge in business, industry, functional and technical areas, management consultants are responsible for designing, building and delivering high value solutions that help our clients move forward in every part of their business, from strategic planning to day-to-day operations.
With your specific focus, you will have the opportunity to work on assignment purely business and oriented towards processes, registration and consortium management. This would also put yourself in direct collaboration with other parts of our practices dealing with the IT and data aspects of larger ACN assignments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of processes, organization and IT systems necessary for compliance,
- Assisting clients in getting their compliance dossiers prepared and submitted to competent authorities
- Acting in our clients name as lead registrant or Only representative
- Piloting SDS authoring or incoming SDS treatment
Qualifications
- A university degree in chemical engineering, law/regulatory chemicals, bio-engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the EH&S/Regulatory sector or similar
- Proven track record in managing a client senior scientist in the Product Stewardship/EH&S domain
- Capability to work in team and integrate a fast growing practice, working in network internationally,
- Ready to travel and work abroad for international clients (European travel: around 50%)
- Experience in REACh, CLP/GHS, IUCLID5 and/or REACh-specific IT Tools
- Experience with SAP Eh&S/REACh compliance/ACE or CLEO a definitive plus
- Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is mandatory. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
